FAMILY CLASS SPONSORSHIP
Family sponsorship is the process by which a person sponsors their family members so they can immigrate or become permanent residents in Canada.
SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP
The Spousal Sponsorship program has two pathways: Inland Spousal Sponsorship (within the country) and Outland Spousal Sponsorship (outside the country). Let's explore these two methods with TTN Immigration.
FAMILY SPONSORSHIP: MINUMUM REQUIRED INCOME
In order to support family members through sponsorship, you need to demonstrate that you make enough income to meet the minimum requirement. This implies having adequate financial resources to provide for all those you are responsible for. The specific income threshold varies based on factors such as the number of family members being supported in Canada, the quantity of individuals being sponsored, and whether the sponsor resides in Canada or Quebec.
APPEAL A REFUSED SPONSORSHIP VISA DECISION
In this type of appeal, an immigration officer has refused to issue a visa to a parent or grandparent you have sponsored. The visa refusal may have included another dependent family member. The officer decided that you (and your co-signer if you have one) do not have the required income to sponsor a parent or grandparent. You may have a right to appeal to the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD).
