Canada ICT visa to PR
In some ways, the ICT work permit to PR Canada procedure for getting a Canadian permanent residence for an ICT work permit holder is like that of international students who come to Canada to study and obtain their PR through Express Entry or PNPs. Individuals transferred within a corporation are frequently excellent candidates for Canada PR. Suppose a C12 work permit holder can enter the Express Entry pool. In that case, they can apply for permanent residence through Express Entry after a year and use the Canadian work experience obtained through a Canada ICT visa to PR.
The foreign national may be qualified to obtain 50 or 200 extra points for an arranged employment (job offer) through their own business in Canada, depending on their position and increasing the likelihood of being chosen from the Express Entry pool of candidates.
With a valid job offer, the foreign national can increase their CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score, leading to the selection under the FSW category of the EE programs and an invitation to apply (ITA) for PR from the IRCC.
To move forward with the Express Entry Pool of candidates, achieving a satisfactory English Test score and passing the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) will be necessary.
