LMIA Service
Individuals with desires to immigrate to Canada might have explored various immigration programs. Some may seem beyond your eligibility, or you may have the necessary qualifications but are not certain about receiving an invitation, for example, the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) through Express Entry, provincial nominee programs, or pilot programs designed to attract skilled talents to Canada.
LMIA is the optimal choice at this time because it adds up to 50 or 200 points to Express Entry. This means you secure an invitation to apply for permanent residency in Express Entry (or PNP – EE). If you don't initially meet the criteria for PR application, LMIA also helps you obtain a work permit in Canada to live, work, and gain work experience in Canada, making you eligible to apply for permanent residency later on.
LMIA – LABOUR MARKET IMPACT ASSESSMENT
LMIA is a type of document that Canadian employers need to have before hiring foreign workers. LMIA shows that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill a specific job and that no Canadian citizen or permanent resident is available to do it. A positive LMIA is sometimes referred to as a “confirmation letter.” If the employer requires a LMIA, they must submit a LMIA application before hiring a foreign worker. Once the employer receives the LMIA, the foreign worker can use it to apply for a work permitTo apply for a work permit, the foreign worker needs a job offer letteran employment contract, a copy of the LMIA, and the number of the LMIA.

LABOR MARKET IMPACT ASSESSMENT, WORK PERMIT, PERMANENT RESIDENT
We often receive many questions related to the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), Work permit and Permanent Residency from people from outside Canada to those who already reside, study and work in Canada.
To talk more about Work permit (WP), to legally work in Canada, if you aren't a Canadian citizen of permanent resident (PR), you must be issued a work permit by the government.
As the name suggests, it's a permit for foreigners to work in Canada. Work permits come in various types, allowing the permit holder to work for most employers or restricting them to work for specific employers only (closed/employer-specific). LMIA-based work permits are those where the permit holder can only work in the job specified on the permit at (one or more) specific work locations of one or more specific employers. It strictly prohibits working in a different job, for a different employer, or at an undisclosed location not mentioned in the application. Violating these conditions can lead to the revocation of the work permit and even deportation from Canada.
CÓ LMIA THÌ CHẮC CHẮN CÓ ĐƯỢC GPLĐ (WORK PERMIT)?
The answer is "NO".
As explained, this is a two-step process. LMIA is a permit that allows employers to hire foreign workers, issued by the domestic labor management agency.
After obtaining an LMIA, foreign workers need to submit an application for a Work Permit based on this LMIA. The agency responsible for assessing and issuing Work Permits is the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Therefore, proving that one is qualified for the job and meets the entry requirements lies with the foreign worker. If these criteria are met, the applicant will be granted a Work Permit based on the LMIA. Depending on the primary applicant's job, dependents may be able to accompany them to Canada either initially or at a later time.
Does having a work permit mean you will have PR?

To be eligible to apply for permanent residence (PR), IRCC considers many factors from the principal applicant and/or dependents. The main factors include work experience, education level, language proficiency (English/French), age, etc.
If your ultimate goal is permanent residency for your entire family, it's essential to inquire about the specific program under which you will be applying and whether it is published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) before signing any service contracts.
